The station areas are looked after by the volunteer group Friends of Langho Station (under the control of Ribble Valley Rail), and Langho in Bloom volunteers keep the station approaches spotless. The village of Langho boasts one pub, the Petre Arms, three hotels – Mytton Fold Farm Hotel ,The Foxfield Hotel and the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor – as well as a village Indian restaurant The Royal Taj.
The nearest phone boxes to the station are in the centre of the village adjacent to the old Post Office and a second adjacent to the Petre Arms pub.
